This Privacy Policy explains how TAGAS Event Planning ("TAGAS", "we", "us") collects, uses and shares personal information when you visit our website or contact us about an event.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you request a quote or send us an event brief, we collect your name, email address and phone number, along with the details you choose to share, such as your event date, type of event, number of guests, budget, the "world" you liked and any message. When you join our guest list, we collect your email address.

Information collected automatically. Our hosting providers record technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. With your form we also record the page you sent it from. Your browser may remember your day or night scene preference on your device. We do not use advertising cookies, analytics trackers or social media pixels.

How we use your information

• to reply to your request and plan your event by email and, if you gave us a phone number, by phone call or text message about that request;
• to send our guest-list emails, if you joined (usually no more than once a month);
• to keep records and to protect our website against spam and misuse.

We will not send you marketing text messages. If we ever offer text updates, we will ask for your separate consent first. Message and data rates from your carrier may apply to texts about your request.

How we share your information

We share personal information only with service providers that help us run our business, and only as needed for them to do so:

• Vercel, which hosts this website;
• Railway, which hosts the system where your requests and guest-list sign-ups are stored.

Links to Instagram, Google Maps and our partner shops take you to services with their own privacy policies.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale or transfer of our business.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. We do not share personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes (California Civil Code § 1798.83).

Do Not Track

We do not use advertising or analytics trackers, and we do not allow third parties to collect information about your activity on other websites through our site. Because we do not track you across websites, our site works the same way whether or not your browser sends a "Do Not Track" signal.

How long we keep information

We keep event requests for as long as we need them to plan and follow up on your event and to meet our legal and accounting obligations. Guest-list addresses are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your choices and rights

• You can ask us to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by contacting us below. We may need to keep some records where the law requires it.
• You can leave the guest list at any time by replying "unsubscribe" to any of our emails or by emailing hello@tagasevents.com. We will stop sending the guest-list emails after you ask.
• We do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are used in California privacy law. You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. We will not treat you differently for making a request. We may need to verify your identity first and may keep information the law requires us to keep.

Children

We plan many celebrations for children, but our website is meant for parents and other adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Please share a child's details only if you are their parent or guardian; any such details are used only to plan and follow up on that event. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date above.
